Final settlement price of Tapioca Chip Both Options for June 2010 (TC 10/06) contract as of June 14, 2010 is 6.10 baht/kilogram.
On the last trading day of TC, The Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand (AFET) will settle the final price in order to manage futures trading of TC to be transparency and justly.
Regulations of Final Settlement Price.
Take Simple Average value of the last 3 working days (including the last trading day) of Mid Interval Value of wholesale price delivery at warehouse Phra nakon si ayutthaya as reported by Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce.
The final settlement price is calculated as follows.
Price of Cassava delivery at warehouse Phra nakon si ayutthaya as per Wholesale price of farm crops and animal feed in Bangkok , as reported by Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce
June 10, 2010 = 6.00 – 6.20 baht/kg = mid price is 6.10 baht/kg
June 11, 2010 = 6.00 – 6.20 baht/kg = mid price is 6.10 baht/kg
June 14, 2010 = 6.00 – 6.20 baht/kg = mid price is 6.10 baht/kg
3-day average price = (6.10 + 6.10 + 6.10)/3 = 6.10 baht/kg
Rounded to 2-decimal number = 6.10 baht/kg
Therefore, Final Settlement Price = 6.10 baht/kg |
